I have had a busy fall finding more fun and colorful neon signs around the Chicagoland area. I found this gem of a sign in Rolling Meadows, IL at Portillo's. What a fun place! This neon was right above the entrance to the place. It reminded me of the many road trips I have taken, and where the road takes us. Now if only I could have a neon car. Haha!! Hope you enjoy it, as much as i did taking it.

This past fall, I drove from Chicago to Los Angeles to check out all the cool neon that Route 66 has to offer. It was a pretty awesome experience to see some great Motel signs that were still lit. Unfortunately, many cool places were not lit, and boarded up. It would be really cool to see all these places lit up again on the Mother Road. Here are a couple of shots from my trip. Enjoy!
I have been busy capturing some really cool neon signs around Chicagoland. A number of interesting signs took me around the south and western burbs of Chicago, and even further. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.
Welcome to my first blog! This year, I will be continuing on searching for more neon signs to add to my collection. I look forward to sharing my adventures, as well as some fun stories. I welcome any feedback here that you may have on my photos. Thanks for stopping by!
